Historic Gen Alpha Events

Generation Alpha
Overview (2010 - 2025)

If America values freedom, stable principles, traditional families, truth, justice, law and order, mercy and grace, and equal rights, it must protect against anything undermining these values. While Christ's message is the answer, the Church must play a significant role in addressing and overcoming these struggles.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 - Therefore encourage and build one another up, just as you are doing.
Generation Alpha is the newest of the American generation and has already experienced numerous impactful events. They need help from previous generations' perspectives in developing a framework into which these events and experiences fit. During this generation, three presidents were elected: Barack Obama, Donald Trump (during his first term), and Joe Biden. Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump in her campaign for President. A major cause was her disdain for ordinary people, the working class and the disadvantaged, whom she publicly labeled "deplorables." Clinton saw herself as being among the unaccountable Elites. Another group that disdains the common man is the unelected career bureaucrats, known as the "Deep State." It grew under Presidents Obama and Biden, taking bold and sometimes unconstitutional actions to control the government and pander to special interests seeking to infiltrate and dominate the spheres of influence. Joe Biden, who defeated Trump in 2020, allowed an illegal invasion of the USA, and the Biden administration collaborated with the illegal aliens by providing funds and services not available to U.S. citizens. Crime soared, including murder, rape and other violent crimes, alienating mainstream Americans. Inflation soared, and his mental decline left Americans wondering who was running the country, a question that was never answered. The bloody withdrawal from Afghanistan both disgraced and humiliated the USA. Its ineffective responses to provocations from Iran and its proxies in the Middle East were also very unpopular, particularly after Hamas committed atrocious barbaric acts against innocent Israeli citizens. Americans were divided in their support of Ukraine in its War against Russia. Additionally, the Covid-19 pandemic had a profound impact on the entire nation. Edward Snowden revealed significant information regarding the erosion of privacy and constitutional violations by out-of-control U.S. security agencies. As a result, in the 2024 elections, former President Trump won by a landslide. Trump has begun a new direction for the Country to reduce its massive debt by introducing tariffs and bringing business and industry back to the United States. Trump also brought in Elon Musk to manage the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to focus on finding areas of spending abuse, which is ongoing. Trump restarted building a Border Wall, and illegal immigration has dropped to a trickly, and those already in America illegally have begun being deported. 2011 - Bin Laden Assassinated

After the attacks of 9/11/2001, America began to track down those believed to be behind the assaults on the World Trade Center in NYC, following the public narrative. This attack justified the USA's launch of a series of costly military campaigns in the Middle East, ultimately including Afghanistan, which benefited U.S. defense contractors but not U.S. soldiers.
Years later, U.S. military forces located Osama bin Laden in Pakistan, the individual accused of being the mastermind behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks. This death of Bin Laden was retaliation aimed to provide a sense of justice and closure for the victims' families and the nation as a whole. Here is the rest of the story.
After bin Laden’s death, 56% of Americans expressed support for withdrawing troops from Afghanistan. However, it took another decade, until 2021 for the mentally-impaired U.S. President Joe Biden, to have American troops flee Kabul, leaving behind 80 billion dollars' worth of military equipment and betraying numerous Afghans who had worked with the USA by abandoning them to be slaughtered by the Taliban. Some Americans were also left behind, to be captured and killed. This sad episode was the greatest defeat in American History since it's founding as a country in 1776, and President Biden never admitted it was a wrong decision, nor ever apologized to the families of the American soldiers who had fought and died there.
Rising gas and oil prices in 2011 significantly impacted Americans domestically. More than half reported closely following news about rising fuel prices in April, and the struggling economy remained a top story throughout the year.
2012 - Presidential Election

In 2012, the US witnessed a closely contested and highly polarizing presidential election, in which President Obama was elected to a second term. The uncertainty surrounding the election outcome had significant implications. The economy, which had crashed during Obama's first term, sending the U.S. into a deep 2008's recession, was only very slowly recovering, and business leaders remained uncertain, waiting to see which direction the country would take. Economic growth sputtered, as corporate expenditures were kept on hold, awaiting a more rebust upturn. The Affordable Care Act (commonly known as Obamacare) faced scrutiny before the Supreme Court, causing further uncertainty in the business landscape. Designed to extend healthcare coverage to 45 million uninsured Americans, it left 29 million still without health insurance after being instituted, and may others unable to afford it premiums, which had to be subsidized by federal and state grants.
Amidst these economic challenges, the Federal Reserve stepped in, providing monetary stimulus through quantitative easing and the printing of money. Foreclosures slowed down, and the housing market improved slightly, and consumers cautiously began spending. Despite all the quantitative easing, the U.S. was only able to grow at a modest rate of 2.2% growth in GDP by year-end. Obama, hailed as American's first Black President, did very little to actually help Black Americans improve their circumstances, particularly those who lived in the Inner City of America's largest cities. Here, high crime, high murder rates, lack of jobs, and little improvement in education persisted while Obama was president. This set the stage for 2016 elections that would be won by President Trump, a come-from-behind businessman who had turned to politics. His slogan was - Make America Great Again (MAGA). His promise to Blacks was that He would improve their employment and educational opportunities, which He did after being elected.
Hurricane Sandy Showed U.S. Unprepared for Disaster Management

In 2012, Hurricane Sandy struck the U.S. East Coast, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. This superstorm combined a hurricane with a powerful nor’easter, resulting in massive power failures along the Eastern Coast affected by the storm. Coastal areas from New Jersey to New York City faced unprecedented flooding (in subway tunnels), up to 25 days of continuous power outages, store closures and massive property damage. Lives were lost, homes destroyed, and communities upended. Emergency response systems failed, as cascade failures occurred. Extended power outages took down food stores, gas stations (that could not pump gas) transportation and communication systems, which meant the general public had no idea what was happening and how long the crisis would continue. Hospital backup systems began to shut down, putting patients at risk, and some died as a result. While the storm underscored the need for better infrastructure, climate resilience, and disaster preparedness, 12 years later most of the lessons learned have been ignored, and none of the mitigation discussed has been put in place - which is a massive failure of the governors in NJ, NY, PA, CT, and surrounding states. It also highlighted the vulnerability of densely populated urban centers to any long-term interruptions of the power grid, whether from sun spots, terrorists or extreme weather events.
The Fiscal Cliff Crisis: Economic Uncertainty

Another critical event was the looming fiscal cliff—a convergence of tax increases and spending cuts scheduled to take effect at the end of 2012. A political deadlock ensued over continued omnibus budget spending by Democrats that resulted in massive increases in national debt. Companies hesitated to hire or invest, fearing the potential fallout. The stock market wavered, and credit rating agencies warned of downgrades to the credit of the United States. Ultimately, Congress reached a last-minute compromise, averting the worst-case scenario. It highlighted the deep divisions between parties regarding fiscal responsibility, and long-term planning. In retrospect, 2012 showed how divided the nation was, and how poorly it had invested in creating a resilient power grid or emergency procedures. This was Hebrew year 5773.
2013 - NSA Whistle-Blower

Edward Snowden leaked classified intelligence from the National Security Agency concerning the NSA's illegal bulk data collection of US citizens and espionage targets abroad.
The US Supreme Court struck down the federal law defining marriage as between a man and a woman. This paved the way for nationwide recognition of same-sex marriage. Another move to reject God, and undermine Christianity and traditional values. The Affordable Care Act was rolled out by Barack Obama but was so ineptly handled that less than 2% of the 7 million anticipated enrollees were signed up. This was a significant attack on Christianity, marriage and family relationships.
Terrorist at the Boston Marathon Attack occurred, a blast that killed three people, injured more than 260 others and put an entire nation on edge. The attackers were two Islamist brothers.
The IRS targeted nonprofits with words like Tea Party in their name for increased scrutiny. It looked like President Obama was facing a major political scandal. However, Obama maintained that he had no knowledge of the policy, and political pressure eased. This was Hebrew 5774.
2014 - Lagging Economic Recovery

Economic Recovery and Job Growth: In 2014, the U.S. economy took significant strides forward. American businesses achieved a remarkable record: 57 consecutive months of job growth—the longest streak in history. By November, the economy had already added more jobs than in any full calendar year since the 1990s. Crucially, this job growth occurred primarily in higher-paying industries, and most of the employment gains were in full-time positions. Additionally, the unemployment rate fell below 6 percent for the first time since 2008. These positive trends reflected the impact of policies set in motion earlier, including the Recovery Act, which helped accelerate favorable economic conditions. However, challenges remained, and further reductions in long-term unemployment and faster wage growth were still needed.
In December 2014, the U.S. surprised the world by announcing the normalization of relations with Cuba after more than five decades of strained ties. The Obama administration’s decision to ease the embargo and engage in diplomatic dialogue marked a historic shift. This move had implications for trade, travel, and cultural exchange. Families separated by decades of animosity could now reconnect, and economic opportunities opened up. While the full impact unfolded over subsequent years, this step toward normalization signaled a departure from Cold War-era policies and a new chapter in U.S.-Cuba relations.
2015 - "Deplorables" Elect Trump Over Clinton

Trade between the United States and Mexico reached over $500 billion, a five-fold increase since 1992, due to NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement).
Under the Provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services began using the Medicare fee schedule to give larger payments to physicians who provided high-quality care compared with cost.
The Saudi-led intervention in Yemen put the United States in a bind. Washington feared that the intervention could become a quagmire and worried that Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula would benefit from the chaos. The desire to prevent a rift with Riyadh prevailed, and Washington provided intelligence information, weapons, and aerial refueling capabilities while urging the Saudi-led coalition to minimize civilian casualties. The civilian toll in Yemen has nonetheless been substantial
China claimed much of the South China Sea—the bulk of which lies far from the Chinese mainland—through its nine-dash line. Beijing was trying to give substance to its claims, which the five countries with coastlines on the sea vigorously disputed, by creating artificial islands around reefs and submerged rocks.
2016 - Trump Takes Office

Donald Trump's election as President created political polarization and deepened divisions within the country because he was not aligned with billionaires who had purchased the influence of nearly all elected politicians of both parties in Washington, DC. Trump was a popularist who overturned the groomed and better financed darlings of the liberal, elitist machine and their billionaire donors. Outsiders, who are popular with people and promise meaningful change or have any religious value system, are not welcome in Washington, DC. Trump was not expected to win the election by either party or the Beltway insider.
2017 - Trump Moves to Build Border Wall

President Trump's efforts to shut down illegal immigration through the Southern borders with Mexico got off to slow start. Congress withheld money needed, and attacked policies that tightened illegal immigration. Nonetheless, the flow of illegal immigration slowed substantially.
White supremacist rallies in Charlottesville, Virginia led to violence and the death of a counter-protester. Those involved needed to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Racism has no place in America, and it never did. The fact that the country had to deal with this issue again suggested demonic influence. Satan comes to deceive, steal, destroy and kill.
2018 - DNA Test Trafficking At Border

The migrant family separation policy at the US-Mexico border drew criticism and protests across the country. Again, this was a false issue since children enter the US with adults who are not their parents. A real solution would have been DNA testing of the children and their supposed parents to determine if the adults were the parents they claimed to be. That DNA Test solution was stopped by the Biden Administration in 2023 because to continue; it would document the illegal trafficking of children occurring that the current administration desires to keep a big secret.
2019 - Mass Shooting & Porous Borders

The mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, reignited debates on gun control laws since criminals seemed to have had no difficulty obtaining guns in the USA, nor do illegal aliens flooding across the country's Southern Border and entering the US, some of whom were/are involved in human trafficking, drug smuggling, gangs violence, and terrorism.
2020 - Biden Becomes President

President Trump had promised to build a wall at the Southern Border, but Congress never funded it, and only part of the wall was constructed while he was in office. President Biden not only did not finish the wall but also eased border control enforcement, allowing 20 million illegal aliens to flood into America, including criminals, human traffickers, violent gangs, those working for drug cartels, and foreign agents from the Middle East and China. Deaths due to drugs rose to their highest levels in history as they flooded America through its Southern Borders.
As a result, there was a substantial uptick in crimes of violence, drug deaths, rapes, and flooding of Democratic cities with illegals. San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and NYC are essentially ruled by criminals in 2024. Illegals were put up in hotels paid for by the U.S. government, while U.S. soldiers with disabilities lived in tents along big city streets. Gang members outnumbered police in these cities. Problems arose in Texas, Detroit, Baltimore, Oregon, and parts of Seattle, Washington. National law enforcement focused on parents who objected to pornography in school libraries by branding them Domestic Terrorists and suspending their civil rights under the Patriot Act, while illegals sold drugs and trafficked people with impunity.
The police killing of George Floyd sparked nationwide protests against police brutality and systemic racism. This episode highlighted the disparity between crime perpetrated by Whites and Blacks across the country. Since this episode, police personnel have had to undergo training that was intended to lessen the sometimes brutal approach the police took towards victims. Some factions raised the issue of some races committing a disproportionately higher percentage of all murders (per capita) than other races in America. This false agenda was propagated by selectively reporting the facts and suppressing data to the contrary.

Underlying societal problems result in violence, suicide or homicide. They are often rooted in single-parent families, non-traditional families, limited job opportunities for uneducated people, gender confusion, drug use, gang violence, and homelessness in Black communities. Woke education that doesn't teach reading, math, science, or civics but focuses on LGBTQ issues does students a disservice when they seek to enter the unskilled segment of the job market - much of which is being replaced now by AI and robotics.
Religion can be an influence to support racial harmony. The area around the Cross of Christ is level ground since all people have fallen short of God's standards and need Jesus as both savior and Lord of their lives.
Many problems that result in violence, suicide or homicide were/are ignored and go unaddressed. Instead, some believe, due to the left-wing backing of some DAs, the approach of letting serious criminals not face consequences but return them to the streets has increased the chaos and lack of accountability, increasing crime rates in America. This, coupled with the movement to defund the police, has created division and disunity as well. Religion should have a significant favorable influence on racial harmony. The area around the Cross of Christ is level ground, as everyone has fallen short and needs Jesus as the savior and Lord of their lives.
2021 - A Senile President and January 6th

A January 6th protest occurred at the US Capitol over concerns about election fraud, and caused more division among Americans. Some believed that whoever was there was an insurrectionist. Some people believed that the January 6th protest (labeled an Insurrection but not defined as such legally) was an FBI undercover sting operation designed to act against those concerned about the 2020 election fairness.
Over 1,000 unarmed protesters were arrested and imprisoned, denied speedy trial or bail, had no access to attorneys, and were held in solitary confinement as political prisoners for up to 38 months, violating their constitutional rights. This action caused political divisions and raised concerns about the US Bill of Rights and Constitutional guarantees to its citizens to assemble. Most of those arrested for being inside the Congress were actually led into Congress by government undercover agents who removed barricades for them. Some of the Journalists present who entered and simply filmed the events were also arrested and charged.
2022 - The Covid 19 Experiment Ends

The immediate death toll in the US due to C19 was over 1 million, not including those plagued with Long-C19 that degraded their reproductive, cardiac, pulmonary, and brains due to the disease and its mRNA government-mandated treatment. Government funding by NIH for the development of the pathogen that was enhanced by Eco Health Systems through a subcontract with the Chinese Communist Party in a biolab in Wuhan, China enabled certain politicians to receive payments for intellectual property developed with government money. The failure of public health, the NAIAD, the FDA and the CDC to protect Americans was egregious and a huge government overreach and war-crime against the world. The blanket immunity granted drug companies was without any justification. Ultimately Dr. Anthony Fauci and his boss Dr. Stephen Collins resigned but were never prosecuted for what many who lost parents, siblings and others considered to be crimes against humanity.
Although the acute phase of the COVID-19 Pandemic ended in late 2023, Covid and the mRNA vaccines will adversely affect Americans for decades. Tucker Carlson explored this in an interview with Dr. Bret Weinstein. The CDC reported that C19 resulted in over 1,000,000 deaths in America, whether or not they received the C19 vaccination. Who is revealing the Truth?
Deaths due to Covid globally were reported as 17,000,000 at an International Covid Conference held in Romania. Dr. Weinstein also claimed that C19 vaccinations triggered over 770 Warning Alerts in the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), more than triggered for all other vaccines together since the onset of the VAERS system. (We have not independently verified that claim in this Alpha version of theDanielPlace, but we plan to download the 478 Gigabyte database and run our own queries.) Dr. John Campbell, RN, Ph.D. in the UK is an excellent source of information on all things C19. Watch him on YouTube.
It is a matter of record that the CDC, FDA and NAIAD blocked all already FDA-approved drug treatments, including some that had shown to be effective against the C19 virus, and instead pushed an unproven, ineffective, experimental mRNA treatment commercialized by Pfizer, Moderna, J&J and others. The mRNA vaccine didn't prevent those vaccinated from contracting C19 and had some detrimental, long-term side effects. As a result, many Americans no longer trust the government, Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, or public health policies in America. Most Americans know someone who died of the disease, had lingering effects of the spike protein, or had side effects of the vaccination.
Then there is the issue of the rise in excess deaths that happened after C19. What is the Truth about the sudden rise in Excess Deaths? Experimental mRNA injections increased the death rates from unknown factors worldwide, as reported in actuarial tables and other sources. Clinical studies are showing that permanent damage to neural, cardiovascular, respiratory systems and cognition, as well as an increase in miscarriages, have been seen. The government and science institutions lack of willingness to study the mRNA vaccine's overall effectiveness, safety and side effects is one very curious inaction of all this. This is being suppressed by labeling it "Anti-Vax Hysteria" and suppressing search results on commercial search engines. Try PubMed and Google Scholar instead and sort results by date in reverse chronological order.
The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted jobs, religious services, schools, and family relationships, hurting children and destroying personal freedom. Many small businesses closed permanently during the 2020 - 2023 pandemic, adversely impacting new job creation and the US economy.
Due to the deception of DHHS, NAIAC, FDA, CDC, HIN and other federal agencies, some Americans believe that the US government engaged in unethical actions and perhaps committed crimes against humanity and doesn't have the best interest of American citizens as priority.
According to Gallup's yearly Confidence Poll, Americans are less confident in the country's institutions than before. There have been some discussions of a Replacement Agenda whereby current American citizens would be replaced with illegal immigrants. There were more illegal aliens allowed into America in 2022 than the number of babies born to American citizens. Federal DHS officials are arranging airlifts of illegals directly to America, bypassing all vetting and typical immigration paths. The Biden Administration denies this, and mainstream media is not covering it.
2023 - The Hamas Genocide & Atrocities

2023 was a year of great cosmic and global significance due to the genocide perpetrated by Hamas against the State of Israel. Any war against Israel is significant since Israel is God's original nation and people, and wars against Israel are discussed and prophesized in the Scriptures. Since the USA is supposed to be Israel's ally, the response of the USA to Israel in its time of need determines what happens in America in the future due to the Covenant God has with Israel. Whoever blesses (helps) Israel will be blessed by God, and whoever curses (undermines) Israel will be cursed.
America is now cursing Israel by interfering in its elections, undermining its defense by withholding weapon systems needed by Israel (which it had already paid for), and meddling in the conduct of its war to defend itself from and eliminate Hamas and daily rocket attacks by Hezbollah on its Northern Territories. The Biden administration has continued the hostile policies towards Israel started in the Obama Administration, and the fruit of that will be seen in what happens in America in the next five years.
A change in US leadership would result in more support for Israel and help remove/reverse the curse our demented president is bringing on America. Who leads America will be decided by the coming election, which may or may not be manipulated by the CIA, as the last one was. Depending upon who is elected could also expedite the movement to a One World Government and global socialism and fascism. America today is in a death spiral, as the many Churches sit idly by watching its demise.
Meanwhile, in the Space Race, seventy-seven countries have space agencies and sixteen countries can launch payloads into space. The moon has been of particular interest. In August, Russia’s moon effort ended in disappointment when its lander crashed into the moon’s surface. Days later, India became the fourth country to land an uncrewed vehicle on the moon and the first to do so near the moon’s South Polar region. Two weeks later, India launched a mission to study the sun. China and the United States also have ambitious moon programs, with NASA aiming to return astronauts to the moon by 2025.
ChatGPT was reportedly ten times more advanced than its predecessor—and governments, companies, and individuals moved quickly to exploit its potential. That triggered heated debates over whether AI will unleash a new era of human creativity and prosperity or open a Pandora’s box that will produce a nightmarish future. Optimists pointed to how AI was unleashing scientific breakthroughs at an unprecedented pace across various fields, enabling rapid drug design, unlocking medical mysteries, and solving seemingly unsolvable mathematical problems. Pessimists warned that the technology is developing faster than the ability of humans to assess and mitigate the harm it might cause.
Freedom & Liberty Decline

By 2023, India had surpassed China to become the most populous country in the world, with a population of 1.43 billion. It is expected to maintain this status for decades to come. In contrast, China’s population is both shrinking and aging. Demographers predict that by 2050, the Chinese population will decrease by 100 million—an amount greater than the current population of all but fifteen nations. What impact will that population growth have on global freedom and liberty?
At the beginning of 2023, Freedom House reported that 2022 marked the seventeenth consecutive year of declining global freedom and democracy. This trend was further evident in the ongoing epidemic of coups in Africa.
In July, Niger's military ousted the country’s democratically elected president.
In 2023, it was anticipated that Sudan would transition to democracy, but instead, the Sudanese people became embroiled in civil war. This conflict has its origins in the protests that led to the military's overthrow of longtime dictator Omar al-Bashir in April 2019. Although a new military junta had agreed with civilian groups to share power and work towards elections, in October 2021, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the head of the Sudanese Armed Forces, and Mohamed Hamdan “Hemedti” Dagalo, the leader of the Rapid Support Forces militia, orchestrated yet another coup.
2024 - New Bioweapon Developed

Just one year after the COVID-19 pandemic ended, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced Disease X as the next pandemic that could emerge in 2025. In a Top Off exercise, the new virus was promoted as being many times more lethal than the COVID-19 pandemic, which killed 1 Million Americans and 17 million globally due to FDA and NAIAD incompetence and failure to allow drugs that were inexpensive and effective from being used to treat it.
Many questions need to be asked. Is the next virus likely from ongoing biological weapons research funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH)? Which Biolab will Disease X emerge from? Are graduate labs at schools like University of North Carolina, or in Boston, or Ukraine, or China still being used for bioweapons research? Most importantly, why are people around the globe involved in researching deadly bacteria? Why are pharmaceutical companies being given immunity from prosecution when their treatments are ineffective and cause side effects that harm people around the world?
Has the NIH ceased issuing grants for viral gain of function research after Covid-19? Which companies benefitted from the COVID-19 pandemic, and which politicians were paid royalties for the unsafe "vaccines" developed to treat it? Did any American citizen or school-age child benefit from Covid-19? Over 1 million were killed by it in the U.S.
In May 2024, the World Health Organization (WHO) attempted to become the overseer of worldwide pandemics or other emergency crisis events unless countries opt out of this agreement. If that had happened, whenever the WHO declared that a health emergency had occurred, WHO would have had global power to establish quarantines, restrict people's movements, control gatherings, and use each nation's police to enforce WHO proclamations. This theft of national sovereignty and cancellation of human rights attempt by the WHO was suppressed by the global News Media and many politicians. Why?
Fortunately, the US opted out of this new WHO treaty but the WHO vowed to continue changing this "treaty" so that it would be adopted. To his credit, Representative Chris Smith (NJ) held a press conference on this power grab by the WHO .
Many state governors and members of Congress signed petitions to the President to prevent this from being adopted. In the end, it was defeated, but the WHO made it clear that it would bring the matter up again as soon as 2025. The outcome will depend upon who is elected president in the 2024 elections.
Since WHO is primarily funded/controlled by China and will manage all global interventions, mandate what medication or vaccine will treat them and what lockdowns and travel restrictions will apply, could it be used as a weapon against America and other democratic societies? It would be left to the WHO to define what a global health emergency was. Could that include climate change, for example?
2025 - Major Shift in Direction
President Donald Trump was inaugurated for his second non-consecutive term and implemented policies that led to federal layoffs and legal challenges in his effort to tackle the massive U.S. debt. No other president has attempted this but if the debt is not reduced significantly, there will be consequences for this and many generations. Trump has decided the way to take on this massive debt is through the use of tariffs and bringing business, industry and resources back to the United States. Subsequently, the country has seen various protests against the administration and its policies as the Democratic Party has lost any vision for America as of almost halfway through the year.
The war in Ukraine drags on but Trump is making attempts to bring it to an end by working with the Russians directly. Additionally, there have been diplomatic efforts, such as the meeting between the U.S. Middle East Envoy and Israeli Prime Minister to secure a ceasefire in Gaza. The Trump administration has partnered with Israel to bring about an end or severe crippling of Hamas.
In January 2025, the United States experienced significant events, including the Southern California wildfires, which caused extensive damage and economic losses.
