Curious About God
We're glad you're here and want to discover more about God. The World is confusing and unstable – is there a place of absolute certainty? Yes! His Name is Jesus and you can explore a relationship with Him below. We pray that your exploration of this Section will bring you closer to Jesus and that it will transform your life forever!
Encounter Jesus in a New, Relational Way

Christianity is unique because the Creator of the World manifests Himself as a human being so that you and I can have a personal relationship with Him. In the Curious Section, you will find Jesus inviting a prostitute to join His group, followed by a tax collector whom everyone in Israel hated. You will see Jesus physically embrace a leper, and rather than being contaminated by Him, the "embrace" cures the leper. He also embraced and healed the lame, those possessed by evil spirits, and other misfits. Jesus was grieved by what Torah had become, a religious system of man-made regulations. He taught all who would listen a new way to worship God and help His Kingdom come to Earth. Does this sound like someone you would like to be your friend? The Curious Section is a great place to discover the real Jesus or to dig deeper into becoming a citizen in His Kingdom.
Did You Know...

Curiosity is a valuable trait; the deeper you delve into questions about life, the more likely you are to uncover the truth. Much about God remains mysterious, hidden, and may not be immediately evident to those who do not believe. We appreciate that you desire to know God and His attributes more intimately, and to understand why a blood sacrifice was necessary to restore humanity's broken relationship with Him. TheDanielPlace (TDP) provides insights about God as presented in the ancient Hebrew Scriptures (Torah) and the New Covenant established by Jesus' sacrifice, which was documented by His eyewitness disciples of these events.
You may notice differences between your personal beliefs and God's Word. Only you can resolve these differences by deciding who is right: you or God. You have the choice to embrace God's wisdom or to rely on your own limited understanding. Your life experiences are unique, and you possess free will, so ultimately, the decision is yours. This is the most important decision you will ever make. We hope the videos provided above will assist you in your decision-making process.
God is referred to as "The Ancient of Days," and the videos above introduce you to His Messiah, as promised in Scripture. The Messiah's Hebrew name is Yeshua, but He is commonly known in English as Jesus. He was conceived by God's Spirit to reflect the true nature of His character. We encourage you to watch "The Chosen," a multi-season television and movie series about the life of Jesus. The Chosen app is available for Android/Google and iPhone users.
Christianity is unique because the Creator of all things became manifest within His own creation as a human being and sacrificed Himself to restore the righteousness of a human race led astray by sin and evil. If this concept intrigues you, after exploring the Curious Path, be sure to continue to the Rethink or Learner sections.
Things God Already Revealed to Humanity

In discussing God's revealed things, we use English bible translations of the Hebrew and Greek Scriptures. Here are things already communicated by God in these scriptures:
-
God is self-existent. He existing before time was established, and will exist after time ends.
-
God creates by speaking or singing what He thinks; see Genesis 1:3;
-
God created all that is - the unseen realm, and then the seen realm from it. See Colossians 1:16;
-
God created Adam first, and formed Eve from His flesh and bone;
-
Their only one limitation was not to lust after Evil knowledge by eating from the Tree of Good and Evil located at the center of the Garden. Genesis 2:17;
-
People don't generally perceive the unseen (spiritual) creation unless it's revealed to them. 2 Kings 6:17;
-
God had personal fellowship with humans in Eden's Garden until Eve and Adam disobeyed and broke the fellowship.
-
The result of their corruption and bodily death, decay of creation, separation from God's fellowship, expulsion from the Garden, and curses on all living things and the elemental processes. Genesis 3:8;
-
Disobeying this regulation brought curses, rebellion, accusation, guilt, shame, and fear into humanity, corrupting the entire Creation. This change altered humanity's relationship with God, transforming it from a purely loving relationship to one in which God's righteousness and glory could no longer coexist with human sin. Genesis 3:16-17;
-
God revealed Himself to Moses as the "I AM." Exodus 3:14;
-
-
God knew before Creation that humans would disobey, that this sin would provoke His judgment and that only He could fix humanity's sin/rebellion problem. 1 Peter 1:20, Eph. 1:4, and Revelations 13:8;
Clearly, humanity has a sin problem evidenced by people continuing to do evil and inhuman acts against others. Christianity offers a distinctive solution centered around the Son of Man, Jesus.
-
Jesus was born to a woman (His human side), and His father being God enabled His divinity. Jesus/Yeshua is referred to as both the Son of God and the Son of Man.
-
Jesus, Son of Man took upon Himself mankind's sin by suffering a horrible torment and death on the cross and offering His innocent blood as a sacrifice for humanity's sin and unrighteous behaviors.
-
Jesus' shed blood solved the problem for Kingdom believers of separation from God. The solution deserves serious consideration.
-
Any person can avail themselves of this unselfish, eternal love-sacrifice Jesus made and become assured of a restored fellowship with God, but who won't accept Jesus' sacrifice or block regeneration will remain subject to eternally separation from God.
